Who can become a Patient Representative and what experience do I need?

There is no wrong or right type of person. The wider the range of patient voices the better. We value the views of the whole community, from all age ranges and background. You don’t need to have had any previous experience of being a Patient Representative. We welcome everyone’s views, but we are looking for people with experience of cancer - whether as a patient, carer, or family member - to get involved with us. You can use your experience to help us understand things from the patient/carer point of view. We do ask that you (or your family member) have received treatment for the cancer within the last three years.

The Forum will meet 4 times a year via online meetings.

We have currently filled all places on the patient forum.
